Arrive Ready
We recommend coming in makeup-free or with SPF only. But if you’re coming straight from work or don’t have time to remove your makeup, don’t worry — we will cleanse your skin to ensure accurate analysis.
VISIA® Skin Analysis
Free at FILO, normally charged extra elsewhere
We use VISIA® to capture multi-angle facial images under consistent lighting, angles, and camera quality. This ensures objective comparisons every time — no guessing, no hiding of results. VISIA® analyses eight key features (wrinkles, spots, pores, UV damage, redness, pigmentation, texture, porphyrins) and provides a TruSkin Age® score to guide your plan.

Realistic Expectations
There is no one-time, fix-all treatment. We discuss treatment frequency, downtime, possible side effects, and most importantly — realistic expectations. You’ll understand what you can benefit from each treatment without overpromises.

Skincare Recommendations
In-clinic treatments create change, but skincare maintains it. Without it, it’s like taking two steps forward and one step back. We prioritise the FILO Skincare Trio (retinoid, antioxidant, SPF) and guide you on what active ingredients to look for across all brands — not just what we retail.
Review & Track Progress
We will set a review, usually one month after starting a treatment or new product. VISIA® allows us to track progress with precise before-and-after comparisons, ensuring we celebrate wins and adjust the plan as needed.

Is my consultation really free?
Yes. Your consultation and VISIA® skin analysis are completely free at FILO, with no obligation — both are charged as extras in many other clinics.
Who will carry out my treatment?
FILO is nurse-led: your consultation and most treatments are carried out by fully qualified, medically trained nurses. Treatments involving medical injectables are carried out by our in-house Aesthetic Doctor.
Does FILO offer injectables?
Yes. FILO offers medical injectables where they are genuinely the right choice for your goals, administered by our in-house Aesthetic Doctor. Whatever your plan involves, our focus is always natural-looking, measured results.
What is a VISIA® skin analysis?
VISIA® is a diagnostic imaging system that captures multi-angle images of your skin under consistent lighting and analyses key features such as wrinkles, pigmentation, pores, redness, and UV damage. It gives us an objective starting point and lets us track your progress with accurate before-and-after comparisons.
Will my treatment be painful, and is there downtime?
This depends on the treatment. Many of our technologies are designed for comfort with little or no downtime, but some treatments involve more recovery than others. Your nurse will explain exactly what to expect — including any downtime and aftercare — during your consultation.
How soon will I see results?
Results vary by treatment and by individual. Some treatments show visible change quickly, while others build gradually over a course of sessions. We always set realistic expectations from the first consultation, with no overpromises.
